Opera House news
Lifetime Members Honored The Livingston Arts Council was pleased to honor and thank its Lifetime Members at a special event in the Opera House theatre on September 30, 2009. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by a short organizational progress update given by president Blythe Patterson and board member Brent Earl. Howell Community Theater actors Erin Hooks and Gil Bazil surprised the audience with the characterization on stage of actress Jesse Bonstelle and theatre manager E.D. Stair in 1920s attire. Guests were delighted with the short historical enactment and conversation directed by former board member Lindsay Root. We extend a sincere thank you to our Lifetime Members for their support and we look forward to seeing you again at a future event at The Opera House! |
Community Dance at The Opera House TONIGHT! Here's another opportunity to put on your dancing shoes and kick up your heels! A lead "caller" and live music of fiddle, banjo, and dulcimer will accompany the dancing. Caller Glen Morningstar will once again "call" the dances and music will be provided by Judi Morningstar and Neil Woodward playing fiddle, banjo, dulcimer and piano. Admission is $5.00 per person at-the-door. More information: 517.540.0065. |
